Random Thought: Isn’t funny how regardless of the fact that all your friends are going through the same thing you are, it doesn’t give you much comfort? Lol.

Thank you for posting this. I can relate. I have a degree and am now working in a min. wage job. It has been the biggest slap in the face for me. I thought I was doing all the right things to end up being successful, and found that I had gone about it all wrong.

I think you are right when you say that our society doesn't prepare us for the realities of jobs. We live in this bubble and think that we can do everything and anything that we want, which is true to some extent, but there are always other factors at play.

I think its so awesome that you are writing about these things. There are so many people our age who are struggling.

I am going back to school just to delay my loan payments and have some extra money so I can buy myself some time while the smoke clears (i.e economy)

Keep it up girl, we all have to work together to spread the word and show people we aren't alone in this.

Help! I'm having a "Quarter-Life Crisis"!

What is a "Quarter-Life Crisis", you ask? Well, I'm around 25 and I'm at that stage in life where my "future" personal and career goals are beginning to come into the present...and it's freaking me out lol. Here, I'm sharing my thoughts and experiences as I go through the process of "becoming a real adult".
