Excellent video :)

To High School Seniors (and College Seniors Too):
It is a good idea to go to college if you can. Of course, it's not for everyone. Some people have natural charisma and can get by on that. Others will have trouble getting a job no matter how many classes they attend because they can't master the practical things employers look for (punctuality, approachability, etc). Some other reasons people get discouraged are because of the economy, unrealistic expectations, and the experience factor. With the way the economy is, it is tough for people to find Masters level jobs, let alone to find a job with a Bachelor or Associate degree. I can't verify if this is true or not, but a lot of people lately have said that having an Associate degree is now as beneficial as having a High School diploma was just a few decades ago. If anything, this should make us strive for an even higher degree, not give up on college. Also, the degree people have makes a big difference. If someone wants a career in a field with small demand, they should prepare to work another job in the meantime. Hint: Applying for government-controlled jobs is a (almost) certain way to find employment. They are almost always hiring social workers, military personnel, and public school teachers. Many of the jobs fresh graduates would prefer to have are high-paying jobs for skilled employees. It can be really discouraging to see "2 years minimum experience required". One way to overcome this obstacle is by volunteering at a place you want to work for a few hours a week. This especially works well in office situations. You can hold your job at Burger Bell while building rapport with people in your chosen field. That way, when positions come up in the future, you can be the first one to come to mind. Even if all you receive is a positive recommendation to another employer, volunteering is worth the trouble.

    Help! I'm having  a "Quarter-Life Crisis"!

What is a "Quarter-Life Crisis", you ask? Well, I'm around 25 and I'm at that stage in life where my "future" personal and career goals are beginning to come into the present...and it's freaking me out lol. Here, I'm sharing my thoughts and experiences as I go through the process of "becoming a real adult".
